The core competence of the Emil Nickisch GmbH is the processing and contract manufacture of metal components for the vehicle and automobile industry.

Nickisch combines various machining operations such as Stamping-Turning-Broaching-Precision grinding to offer complex system solutions.
Here the enterprise relies on fully automated CNC-technology and process interaction in order to process highly precise metal components at its location in Burscheid (near Cologne), Germany.

Besides its wide spectrum of production, in the past years the enterprise has concentrated specifically on medium- and large-scale manufacturing of drive and transmission components, coupling flanges, piston rings, shock absorber pistons and hydraulic pumps.
The enterprise is market leader in the treatment and processing of sintered metals for all major sintered metal producers in the automotive industry.

Moreover in the area of sealing elements Nickisch manufactures and sells its own voluminous system component program ranging over cast mechanical face and axial face seals as well as counter rings for washing machine, construction machinery and agricultural implement manufacturers.

At its location in Burscheid Nickisch enjoys a long tradition. Since 1948 Nickisch has regularly employed between 40 and 70 employees.
The enterprise is pillared by shareholders coming from three local families: the families Günter, Armbruster and Boch, whereupon several generations are engaged in the family business.
